more about us
We'll depart in a '97 Mitsubishi Delica van that we've spent 2 years building into an overland home. Last year we tied the knot (literally) on the summit of the Grand Teton in Wyoming at 13,770 ft. Our phrase, “be old later”, reminds us that life is too short and we need to live it to the fullest while our knees still work and our gray hairs are easily countable.
We want to take this time, this journey, this chapter in our lives to explore, learn, and give back.
During our trip we will be focusing on three major goals: Exploring Provincial Parks of Canada and National Parks of the United States, especially ones that are currently under threat, showcasing local artisans along our path, and learning about respectable horticulture by volunteering on local farms.
This is our proposed journey:
We want to bring attention to certain parks and national monuments of North America through visual and written documentation of our hikes and climbs. On our website and social media platforms, we will showcase artisans who share a passion for creativity and community. We are also seeking to trade hard work to local farms in exchange for stories and images that highlight their positive practices.
