Nomad America

Fabio, Luis and team went above and beyond to make sure we had the most amazing time in Costa Rica. You can tell the first time you meet them that they are stoked on helping people and sharing their amazing country with others. We rented one of their super decked out 4x4s for a couple weeks and explored the back roads with no limits. Our reliable, fully-stocked expedition rig and the guidance from Nomad America helped make our honeymoon more perfect than we could have ever imagined -- check out some of our photos and stories in the Costa Rica section.

Battle Born Batteries

We are more than stoked to be working with Battle Born Batteries! From our research, initial talks with Sean and their presence on forums, we know them as a small, hardworking team of people who want to make the best product available and push the boundaries of the battery industry. They strive to share knowledge of their product and process, and even more important to us, they are concerned about our environment and giving back to their community. 6 years after install, our battery is still going strong as it was when new. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to use Battle Born Batteries in our vehicles.

KC HiLiTES

I have been dreaming of the day I would own a set of Daylighters since I was a kid. When we started this build, we knew we’d have the 6” spots up front and center (no matter the price), and we chose KC because of their reputation, performance, and to be honest, we just really like the look of those smileys on the front of Bagheera — it’s definitely given him a bit of personality. Now, a couple years later, we have the opportunity to be a part of the KC HiLiTES family, a group of awesomely dedicated, caring, helpful and friendly people super stoked to get you out in the world having a blast. We have recommended these lights to many people before KC supported us, and we will continue to stand by them for all of our lighting needs, you really can’t find a better offroad light or company.

Tepui Tents

Tepui Tents makes rad tents. We just don't have enough room on the roof of the van to partake in such radness. Good thing Tepui also makes rad awnings! They've hooked us up with an awning and mosquito netting so we can stay cool and bug-free (or bug less anyway) on our journey (up then) down. We are grateful and excited to display the brand of a company with excellent values, built in overlanding, and always pushing their products to be the best in the outdoor industry. During our interactions, they've always shown a true concern for pleasing the customer, and we can't wait to put this awning to the test of a massive trip through challenging weather and terrain -- so far we wouldn't have survived the north without that mosquito net!

OnX Offroad

We recently got a trial of OnX Offroad for our cross-country trip back to Vancouver, B.C. It’s amazing all the trails and FSR/BLM you can find with the app and it has gotten us way off the beaten path — something we have appreciated even more as we’re trying to keep our distance from people during the pandemic. Check out the app if you’re based in the USA and looking for some excellent information on offroad tracks!

Overland Expo West

The amazing folks at the Overland Expo West have granted us an International Travelers pass to the Expo, and we've just learned that we were also accepted as a Showcase Vehicle for the Overland Expo West 2018. I have been dreaming of going to the Expo for years, and when the idea of this trip became more solid and found a departure date that lined up pretty close to the Expo, we knew we'd have to take the extra drive down to start it off right, among the thousands of other overlanders in Flagstaff, AZ. Come see us at the expo and swing by the Showcase Vehicle area to chat about all things Delica or 4x4 van.

Road Shower

After a month and some change we decided the once weekly shower wasn't quite cutting it and we reached out to Road Shower to see if we could work out some sort of partnership, and they extended us a discount! There are many options for DIY rooftop showers and I had originally planned on making one out of PVC, but time escaped us with all the other things to do before heading out on the road. The things I like most about the Road Shower 4s are that it's made from aluminum and super solid -- I'm sure it will outlast any PVC setup I could build, the natural solar heating is excellent, and the design is perfect for the small footprint of our roof. It's great for anything where you need some high pressure -- spraying off the van, cleaning feet, washing dishes, and full on warm/hot showers for us (and especially for Nugget)!
